I’m a pretty huge fan of Quantic’s Quantic Soul Orchestra albums, so I kinda had to go to Mighty last Friday. My first impression of Mighty: Loved the brick walls, loved how in the middle of nowhere it was, & hated that step between the bar floor & the dance floor (bumping hard into a cute girl and slightly spilling her drink b/c of tripping on said cursed step=not tight). The different beats he was dropping—jazz, this really chill souldful dubstep tune & latin-type beats—had me dancing non-stop, but what really impressed me was this drum & bass set he dropped out of nowhere! Go see Quantic the next time he comes to your city! & listen to all his music, it’s wonderful.
